This week's prayer
|
Lord God Almighty, in whose Name the founders of this country won liberty for themselves and for us, and lit the torch of freedom for all nations then unborn: Grant that we and all the people of this land may have grace to maintain our liberties in righteousness and peace; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever.
Amen.

| Save Money with E-News
|
Your parish can send an e-newsletter similar to Postings.
Using
e-news to reach members with email saves paper and postage costs. Then
simply print and mail hard copies of your e-news publication to members
without email. The publication process is easy to learn and simple to
use.
Plus, e-news service for your church can be completely FREE
if your email list is less than 100 and you send less than six "issues"
per month.
Communication Officer Laurie Wozniak will provide free training to get you rolling. Email Laurie today to get started!

| Become a HOST Congregation
|

The
growing needs of U.S. military personnel, their families, and the
community impacted by the on-going conflicts in both Iraq and
Afghanistan has spurred The Episcopal Church to develop a program of
community outreach called "Home Support Team" (HOST).
The HOST web page,
provides information on ministry to soldiers in the field, to their
families who reamin at home and to veterans who have returned from duty
in the Middle East. Visit this site today to learn what your
congregation can do to help.
